Abra Mueller, B.Sc.
Abra received a B.Sc. in Public Health from the University of Colorado where she also worked as a program coordinator and co-taught Business Ethics at the Colorado University Denver Business School. She is currently pursuing a second bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering while working for the capital projects and engineering department at The Canadian Nuclear Laboratories.
Abra’s professional experience includes serving on the Board of Directors at St. Anthony Hospital and Medical Campus (Denver CO), as an executive committee member for IEEE’s Power Energy and Industrial Application Society(Alberta), a Board Member for the Society for the Preservation of Canada’s Nuclear Heritage(Ontario), a Communications Officer for the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario, and as Secretary of the Fusion Energy Council of Canada.
Abra and her husband, Herbert, presently reside in Deep River, Ontario but maintain a residence in Canmore where they can enjoy their passion for cycling, hiking and skiing in the Rocky Mountains.
