Senior Wealth Advisor,​ Portfolio Manager. With nearly 30 years of experience in the financial industry, I take a unique approach to financial management. Through rigorous screening of large cap investments from both the top down and bottom up, I seek companies with hidden values for my clients to invest in. After completing my time in University, I obtained a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance. I also received a designation as a CDFA professional by the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA™).

As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) and Portfolio Manager, I possess specialized skills and experience enabling me to analyze the long-term financial impact of divorce. For many, divorce is the largest financial transaction of their lives, and when working together, we address the financial implications of divorce using data to help you achieve an equitable settlement.

My knowledge and experience within the financial industry covers everything from active portfolio management to public venture capital markets, having taken on various roles as an industry spokesperson and as a Chairman of the TSX Venture Exchange National Advisory Committee. I was a member of the Ontario Securities Commission Exempt Markets Advisory Committee. I have been a guest speaker on numerous occasions for Canadian Stock Exchanges, Provincial Securities Commissions, and regulatory bodies. Guest lecturing on many occasions at the University of Calgary, I have also spoken at the University of Texas School of Law. Most recently, I completed two terms on the Calgary Chamber of Commerce Finance, Audit and Investment review committee. Over the years, I have helped guide 100+ companies through the complex process of taking their corporations public.

In my spare time I run, weight train and play golf. My wife and I have recently taken up seeing as many 1980’s and 90’s bands as we can, as we love live music. We have a very busy household as my wife and I each have three children, and so we are always on the go.
