Layla holds an MA in Women, Writing and Somatics from Goddard College, VT and is a multidisciplinary innovator and maker with a wide range of interests as a surface pattern designer, contemporary expressionist painter, and creativity consultant.

An abstract intuitive artist with a full-time studio practice and a background in PyTorch for AI and Machine Learning, she enjoys melding creativity and tech, bringing together her experience as a Deep Learning Engineer, User Experience (UX) designer, and visual artist to drive creativity.

Layla is a long-time resident of Canmore with a love of hiking and climbing.
