Mary Clark, B.Sc., B.Ed. M.Ed.

Mary received a B.Sc. (Hons) and B.Ed. from the University of Alberta and holds an M.Ed., with a specialty in education technology, from the University of British Columbia. Her awards include the National Research Council’s Public Outreach Award, the Canadian Millennium Award for Environmental Citizenship, the BC Minister’s Environmental Award and the Inspiring Fifty Canada Award recognizing her as one of fifty female leaders in STEM education.

With over 25 years of experience in education and technology as both a teacher and science textbook writer, Mary is the Founder and CEO of Agents of Discovery. The company specializes in utilizing Augmented Reality and Animation software to develop a mobile, gamified way of encouraging kids to be active, engaged, and learning. The company has a portfolio of important clients in the USA and Canada and is a Resident Company of Innovate Canmore.

Mary presently resides in Kelowna, BC where she enjoys hiking and backcountry camping, both locally and in the Rocky Mountains.
