Presenter: Cailee Evans, Executive Director of Strategy and Engagement with Emissions Reduction Alberta (ERA)

She has over 15 years of experience across government and private enterprise including holding a number of regulatory and operational Director appointments at the Alberta Energy Regulator, leading key strategic, governance, climate and innovation files.
For more than 10 years, ERA has been investing the revenues from Alberta's carbon price paid by large final emitters to accelerate the development and adoption of innovative clean technology solutions. Since ERA was established in 2009, it has committed $646 million toward 204 projects worth $4.5billion that are helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, create competitive industries and are leading to new business opportunities in Alberta. These projects are estimated to deliver cumulative reductions of 37.7 million tonnes of CO2e by 2030.
The evening's discussion will focus on several projects ERA has funded locally as well as across the Province. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about what ERA is doing to support innovation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions across a range of sectors in Alberta's economy.
