Patricia holds a Ph.D in Food and Bio-Processing Science from the University of Saskatchewan, together with professional certification in Design Thinking and Product Development. She has recently completed a Data Science certification program with IBM.

Additionally, Patricia is an Award winner in the Saskatchewan Co.Labs Innovation Incubator “Co.Launch” program for early-stage technology startups in the ideation and prototype phase. “Co.Launch is a partnership between the University of Saskatchewan Innovation Enterprise program and Innovation Saskatchewan.

While at the University of Saskatchewan, Patricia also worked as a Policy Analyst at Western Economic Diversification Canada and as a Market Business Analyst for Global Water Futures.

Born in Brazil, Patricia is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish and is a competitive Triathlete.
